Who we are: The Athens Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of parents, teachers and administrators who work together to raise funds, provide volunteers, and organize events. What we do: We provide volunteers and financial support for all kinds of events including student clubs and activities, All Night Party, Prom, 8th Grade Orientation and more. Students whose families are members may apply for senior and underclassmen scholarships, and we provide teacher members with enrichment scholarships. The PTO was able to supply the school with its first interactive whiteboard this year! How to join: If you have a student at Athens, you can fill out the Athens PTO Membership and Directory Order Form and submit the form along with $15.00 dues to the Athens PTO mailbox (or the PTO table during registration). You will receive a Student Directory as part of your dues. Additional directories may be purchased for $5 each. When we meet: We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the Staff Lounge (across from the back doors, off the cafeteria.) We do not meet in December or June.
