About Athens
Athens High School in Troy, Michigan opened in 1974 and is one of four high schools in the Troy School District. It serves grades 9–12 and has a student-teacher ratio of 18 to 1. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges & Secondary Schools and has received several awards, including: Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School, National School of Character Award, Michigan State School of Character Award, and National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award.
