This year, Student Congress has selected Elli’s House, a local organization that combats human trafficking. Michigan is consistently ranked as one of the worst states in the country for human trafficking. Elli’s House provides shelter, as well as mental health, education, and career services to victims. In addition, the group has outreach programs, such as delivering hygiene kits to the homeless.

Most individual tickets to Charity Week events are $5, but the best way to make sure that your Athens student doesn’t miss a minute of the fun is to purchase a passport in advance for only $85 through PaySchools! The passport guarantees admission to all of these events plus a t-shirt, dance ticket, raffle tickets, plus special door prizes throughout the week.
