Cap & Gown Ordering
To place an order visit Jostens.com or call (586) 781-5618. If you already have a gown from a sibling or are borrowing one from a friend, please let Mrs. Sutton know by sending an email to lsutton@troy.k12.mi.us. or by sending her a message on Schoology.
If you already have a gown, you will. need to visit Jostens.com to purchase a 2027 tassel. If you also need a cap, you will need to order both the cap and tassel by calling (586) 781-5618. Caps are not available for individual purchase on the website.
All caps & gowns will be delivered to Athens, where we will keep them safe until May. Grades will receive their caps & gowns on their last day of school.

Senior Portrait Ordering
Prestige Portraits is the preferred vendor for Athens senior photos. With Prestige, once the portrait is taken, students will need to select their preferred pose. Then, the yearbook program receives the selected portrait directly from Prestige.
- Students can make their own appointment at any Prestige location anytime before the deadline.
- Athens will also be providing two dates (October 8 and November 17) in the fall for students to get their portraits taken at school for FREE (this is only for the headshot post; any other desired senior poses would require an appointment with Prestige or your photographer of choice).
- Students who take their headshot with Prestige also receive a copy of their senior composite. This is a FREE gift from Prestige that includes all students photographed by Prestige. Because it is a gift from Prestige, students who do not take a photo with Prestige will not be included. All students will be included in the yearbook regardless of where your photo is taken and submitted.
Independent Photographers: While we prefer students use Prestige, we understand that some may prefer to use an independent photographer. There are certain criteria that your independent photographer must adhere to when submitting your photo for the yearbook.
- Student must have an indoor headshot (just shoulders and head). OUTDOOR OR FULL BODY PHOTOS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Photos must be 1.37 in. x 1.875 in., 300 dpi, jpg format.
- Must have a medium "moonlight" blue background.
- Photo emailed to athensyearbook5475@gmail.com by Monday, December 7, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
- Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
- If a headshot is not submitted by Prestige or an independent photographer, your school ID photo will be used for the yearbook.

As we get ready for the yearbook, we want to make sure we capture your students' name accurately. We have many Red Hawks who go by their middle names, nicknames, initials, etc. and would prefer this name is printed in the yearbook. Unless this form is signed and on file, your students name, as it appears in PowerSchool will be used.
Form is to be returned to Room B22 before end of day Monday, October 5, 2026.
